We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.

Disposal of packaging materials is your responsibility.

After two failed delivery attempts, the goods may be returned to our bakery. We reserve the right to charge an additional re-delivery fee.

4.9 Change of Address

If the delivery address is changed after dispatch, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges incurred from our carriers.

Please inspect the goods upon delivery. Any missing or damaged items should be reported to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or to us within a reasonable timeframe.

4.11 Lost or Damaged Items

4.12 Ground Floor Delivery Only

Deliveries are made to a ground floor entrance and are conditional upon reasonable access for prompt and safe delivery. Please inform us of any special delivery requirements when placing your order.

We can't be held responsible for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, civil commotion, or other unexpected events.

5. Cancellation and Returns

5.1 Exemptions to Cancellation Policy This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations, or to items that have been personalised or modified to your specification (e.g., customised pet tags, personalised cakes, etc.).

5.2 Cancellation Process You can cancel your contract within 14 days following the day of delivery. Please initiate cancellations by email or in writing, as we're unable to process cancellations by phone.

5.3 Cancellation Reason You're not required to provide a reason for cancellation, but any feedback is welcome to help us improve our services.

5.4 Returning Goods If you cancel, return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, with the original packaging, to our address or another specified UK address. Return costs are your responsibility. Ensure that the goods are well-packaged to prevent damage.

5.5 Examination of Goods You may examine the goods for 14 days as if you were in our shop. However, used goods cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

5.6 Failure to Return Goods If you don’t return the goods, we will arrange their collection and charge you the direct collection cost. If goods are damaged due to inadequate care before return, we'll charge for the reduction in value.

5.7 Refunds We'll refund all payments made, including postage/carriage, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, minus any applicable costs under this contract.

5.8 Business Customers and Exempt Customers Orders from business customers or customers exempt from distance selling regulations cannot be cancelled without mutual agreement.

Legal Rights This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights, for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

5.9 Perishable Products Please be aware that many of our products are perishable and thus are exempt from standard cancellation rights. Perishable items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or not as described.

6. Faulty Goods / Guarantee

6.1 If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. Its helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

6.2 All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.

6.3 The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.

6.4 If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.

The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

6.5 Where we replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to us.
